Description of job position

Leading and managing a team of deminers to ensure effective and safe operations in mine clearance activities.
Developing and implementing operational plans for demining projects in accordance with international safety standards.
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations related to mine clearance.
Providing training and guidance to team members on demining techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
Coordinating with local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to facilitate demining operations and community engagement.
Monitoring and evaluating team performance, providing feedback and support for continuous improvement.
Maintaining accurate records of demining activities, including progress reports, incident reports, and equipment maintenance logs.
Ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of demining equipment and tools.
Promoting a culture of safety and teamwork within the demining team.
Responding to emergencies and incidents in a timely and effective manner, ensuring the safety of team members and the local community.
